The holiday season has always been the best time on our store! The hustle and bustle reminds us why we love what we do. This sentiment is especially pronounced in this, our finale season in our brick and mortar store. Since announcing the changes in our business model, we've seen so many of our long time customers as they stop by to shop and wish us well. It has been heartwarming and fun to connect and share memories. Thank you to all of those who have sent us notes, given us hugs, and have expressed well-wishes.
November 2014 was a busiest month ever! Custom design appointments were in such high demand that I set up a waiting list so that I didn't write more orders than our small team could fill. Of course, I don't relish turning away business, but I realize that I needed to be realistic about what we could sew! Luckily, I've been able to keep the store stocked with great gifts including our signature jewelry and infinity scarf line, as well as lots of our favorite goods by other manufacturers. As for me, I'm sewing up a storm while soaking up these last weeks of what has been the most joyous twelve years of my life thus far. It's not easy to articulate how I feel about it all. Here's to a merry season savoring old memories while looking toward the future!
